Personal Statement from the Event Organizer: "At EPA 1996 in Washington, DC, a large and lively person-centered community developed, with many people unaffiliated with person-centered theory and practice attending. "In 1997, Boston, there was an excellent line-up of presentations. I was chagrined when the p-c programs were poorly attended. As far as I could determine, this was due to the way in which our program was announced in the program book (as a mini-conference at the end of the book). I am pleased to report that the Providence program guide lists PC presentations throughout. I am also very happy to announce that in my last year on the EPA program committee, Neill Watson has agreed to organize the Baltimore 2000 slate of programs. Neill may be reached at npwats@facstaff.wm.edu or by phone at 757.221.3889, or mailing him at: The College of William and Mary, Psychology Department, Williamsburg, VA 23187 " |
